Embassy English Language Summer Camp at Queen Mary University is calling for teens, ages 12-19, to have an immersive English learning and incredible summer experience in London.

Imagine yourself in a relaxing atmosphere of Queen Mary University while whole London is just waiting outside of the campus. In comfortable and small size classrooms, with individualized and full attention of teachers, you will bond with other English learners and practice English all day long. You learn, you practice, you talk. That ’s how you will be fluent in your language skills.
Embassy English program at Queen Mary University of London revolves around the classroom and students are at the center of English lessons which foster the development of useful language and communication skills.
After completing the program, participants receive end-of-course certificates.

Location
Embassy English Language Summer Camp is located on the large modern city campus of Queen Mary University, just a short journey on the tube from central London.
On campus, there are fantastic facilities such large indoor multi-purpose sports hall, a communal lounge in the dining area, lecture theatres and standard style classrooms ,located in various buildings across the Mile End campus.
There are also both shops as well as cafes on campus.
Course Description
In Embassy Summer Camp, English classes are student-centered and encourage the development of relevant language skills.
The course includes 15 hours (20 x 45 minutes) of English sessions per week, conducted by qualified English teachers. Each class has a maximum of 17 students.
On the first day, students take a placement test to verify that they are placed in the right level. The course provides instruction at all levels, from beginner to advanced. All of the courses offer learning tools, materials that are suited for the students' age and level.
Activities
On-site activities are scheduled occasionally when students are not in class or out exploring London, with full-day excursions at the weekend. All activities are designed to continue learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games.
Sample Activities : Treasure Hunt, Karaoke, Disco, Quiz or different sports such as Mini Olympics or Football. Evening activities: Karaoke, talent show and team games. Half Day trips : Students get to explore exciting places around London every weekday, visiting places such as the British Museum, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge Experience, the National Gallery, Leicester Square and Chinatown. Full-Day Excursions: Brighton: Enjoy this vibrant and popular seaside resort with beautiful architecture and visit the Sea Life Centre. Canterbury: Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most visited cities in the UK. Marvel at the gothic architecture of Canterbury Cathedral and medieval buildings. Cambridge: Explore this iconic university city, famous for its renowned colleges, punting on the River Cam and Kings College.
Accommodation & Food
Students live in one of the halls of residence in the student village, which is like a little village in itself. There are shops and a sports hall for students to enjoy, all within a short distance from one of the world’s most exciting cities.
Participants of Embassy English Language Summer Camp stay in single room with en-suite. Each student room has single bed, wardrobe, desk, chair. Room cleaning and linen change are scheduled weekly. With a small fee, laundry service is available on campus.
Meals are served in a large on-site canteen. Menus are rich and nutritious. Hot breakfast and continental available including juice, coffee, toast, cereal and fruit. Two courses, 3 options including a vegetarian option for lunch.and three courses, 3 options including vegetarian and halal option for diner. Packed lunch is provided at weekends.

London Gatwick Airport (LGW), Stansted Airport(STN), Luton Airport (LTN) and London Heathrow Airport (LHR) are the nearby airports to Queen Mary University of London. St Pancras International (Eurostar) is the nearest train station to our campus. If you travel from and to those locations, please keep in touch with us for transfer assistance.
Any course for a student under the age of 18 includes a transportation option.
