Embassy English Language Summer Camp at London South Bank University offers immersive English learning experience and incredible summer memories for teens, ages 13-17, just a little walk away from River Thames, London Bridge, and London eye.
At the Center of Learning English and Exploring London
This summer you are going to be at the center of all. Embassy English Summer Camp at London South Bank couldn't be more central! Everything you wish to see, explore and experience in London is only a short walk or underground ride away. You will study and accommodate in the heart of London.
English classes also revolve around you and your needs. Learning with your peers from all over the world, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a multicultural environment, developing your ability to collaborate with peers from different backgrounds.
This program is also available for 18-21 year-old-adults.
After completing the program, participants receive end-of-course certificates.

Embassy English Language Summer Camp is located on the campus of South Bank University, close to the river Thames, London Bridge and London Eye. This is the ultimate location for students who wants to explore the city of London as much as possible.
London South Bank University has modern, well-equipped classrooms with audio-visual facilities, indoor multi-purpose sports hall, available once a week, and a local park used for games and activities.
Course Description
In Embassy Summer Camp, English classes are student-centered and encourage the development of relevant language skills.
The course includes 15 hours (20 x 45 minutes) of English sessions per week, conducted by qualified English teachers. Each class has a maximum of 17 students.
On the first day, students take a placement test to verify that they are placed in the right level. The course provides instruction at all levels, from beginner to advanced. All of the courses offer learning tools, materials that are suited for the students' age and level.
Activities
On-site activities are scheduled occasionally when students are not in class or out exploring London, with full-day excursions at the weekend.
All activities are designed to continue learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games
Sample Activities: Treasure Hunt, Karaoke, Disco, Quiz or different sports such as Mini Olympics or Football
Half-day Trips : Students get to explore exciting places around London 5 times a week, they visit places such as The British Museum, The Museum of London, Tower Bridge experience, Thames River cruise and The National Gallery.
Full-Day Excursions: Brighton: Enjoy this vibrant and popular seaside resort with beautiful architecture and a visit to the Sea Life Centre.
Canterbury: Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most visited cities in the UK. Marvel at the gothic architecture of Canterbury Cathedral and medieval buildings.
Cambridge: Explore this iconic university city, famous for its renowned colleges and visit King's College
Accommodation & Food
English Summer Camp students stay at McLaren House residence in single en-suite rooms arranged in flats of 5-8 students in each, just short walk from main University building. Room furniture includes a wardrobe, desk and chair. Room cleaning and linen change are scheduled weekly. With a small fee, laundry service is available.
Large communal space on the ground floor offers student to calm with reading corners, or socialize with board games, ping pong table and foosball table.
Meals served in large self-service dining hall (spread across 2 floors) in the main University building. Menus are rich and nutritious. Continental including juice, coffee, toast, cereal and fruit for breakfast and two courses, 3 options including vegetarian and halal option for lunch and dinner. Packed lunch is provided at weekends.
Getting to London South Bank University
London Gatwick Airport (LGW), Stansted Airport(STN), Luton Airport (LTN) and London Heathrow Airport (LHR) are the nearby airports to London South Bank University. St Pancras International (Eurostar) is the nearest train station to our campus. If you travel from and to those locations, please keep in touch with us for transfer assistance.
Any course for a student under the age of 18 includes a transportation option.
