The French language lessons follow a curriculum specifically designed for young learners. This is conducted by experienced teachers in groups no larger than 15 students. The French Summer Camp at Montreux- Riviera focuses on speaking and listening skills, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar. Students must undertake collaborative projects that encourage creativity, time management and leadership.

Location
The French Summer Camp at Montreux-Riviera sits on a beautiful mountain resort at an altitude of 1,000m (3280 ft). On campus, several indoor and outdoor sports areas, communal spaces to socialize and bright, spacious classrooms welcome students.
Montreux is famous for its gorgeous climate. The Swiss summer has moderate temperatures with highs of up to 28 deg C (82 F)and lows above 18 deg C (64 F). Plenty of sunshine, blue skies, fresh Alpine air and incredible opportunities for sport and cultural activities such as world renowned Montreux Jazz Festival. Students who sign up for week 1 might get the chance to attend the festival. Let’s go!

Activities
The amazing location of Montreux-Riviera, by the lake and at the foot of the mountains, provides an abundance of thrilling activities. Weekday afternoons are dedicated to sports, creative and cultural activities, giving you the chance to discover this beautiful region, have fun and put your French language skills to use. This is a sample schedule.
Accommodations
The school provides host family accommodation in twin bedrooms, allowing students to experience the local life by staying with a French-speaking family who help you progress with your language skills. You will eat breakfast with the family in the morning and then make your way to class either by public transport or on foot
Excursions
-Trip to Aquapark - subtropical swimming pool in the afternoon and evening activities with your host family -Trip to Chillon Castle or Alimentarium Food Museum in the afternoon -Saturday trip to Maison Callier chocolate factory or Gruyères village and full day with your host family on Sunday
